Senior Accountant - Cornwall £50,000 I''m currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing and well-established accountancy practice in Cornwall. This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys a mix of technical accountancy work, client management and team responsibility. The successful candidate will play an important role within the practice, taking ownership of their own client relationships while also supporting the wider team and day-to-day running of the office. The role The position will involve a broad range of accountancy practice responsibilities, including: Preparing and finalising statutory accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax returns Preparing Self Assessment tax returns Preparing and submitting VAT returns Dealing with payroll and CIS Producing management accounts Liaising directly with clients and HMRC Managing client queries and ensuring information is received accurately and on time Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships Leading client tax review meetings Identifying opportunities to introduce additional value-added services to clients Reviewing client contracts and identifying areas of the portfolio that may not be profitable Supporting new client onboarding and helping clients get set up on the practice''s online portal Providing training and support to clients where required Managing and mentoring junior ..... full job details .....
