OverviewThe Adult safeguarding Team is looking to recruit Experienced Social Workers who are motivated and have the passion and ability to work with adults, sometimes in challenging circumstances, within the adult safeguarding team.

About the RoleOur Social Work Team makes up part of a wider multidisciplinary assessment service including Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Surveyors. We work alongside colleagues from local health trusts to ensure the holistic needs of our service users are met.

Responsibilities

Contribute to a multidisciplinary assessment service as part of a team that includes Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Surveyors.

Collaborate with colleagues from local health trusts to ensure holistic needs of service users are met.

Apply the principles of professionalism, ambition, accountability, dignity, respect, empathy, and a strength-based, collaborative approach to service delivery.

Qualifications / RequirementsYou will be expected to have an excellent understanding of the legislation relevant to the role, specifically the:

Care Act

Mental Health Act

Mental Capacity Act

The Human Rights Act
