Based on a beautiful farm location on the outskirts of Bath, the company combines time-honoured scribe rule oak framing techniques with modern building systems such as SIPS and encapsulation.Responsibilities:Fabrication of oak timber frames within the workshop, using traditional "scribe rule" techniquesProduction of our custom SIPS (Structurally Insulated Panel System) in the workshopOn-site raising of oak frame, encapsulation systems and claddingOpportunities to install a specialist glazing system and joineryManagement of timber stock - handling, stacking and gradingQualities and Requirements:Experience in oak timber framing as well as general carpentry skillsBased local to Bath, Somerset and the surrounding areaUnderstanding of construction drawings and general building practicesClear communication ..... full job details .....
