You will be joining our TEandTD function, underpinning the delivery of the Trials, Test, and Experiments programme. Location - AWE (Aldermaston). Package: 49,480 - 78,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience) Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. Whilst we consider flexible working requests, due to the operational nature of the role, most of the time will be spent working on site at AWE Aldermaston. Let us introduce the role Orion is a high energy density physics experimental facility that enables AWE scientists and physicists to improve their science understanding at extreme temperatures and pressures (up to 10 million degrees, which is like temperatures found at the centre of the Sun). The facility also works in partnership with academia and universities across the UK to deliver mutually beneficial research in STEM.
