Residential Support Worker
We are working with a Local Authority to recruit an experienced Residential Support Worker to join their Children''s Services team in Preston.In this role, you will provide day-to-day care and support for young people living within the home, while contributing to the ongoing development of the service and the positive outcomes of the children in your care.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Residential Support Worker, your duties will include:Taking a lead role in shift planning and ensuring all plans are clearly documented.Carrying out key worker responsibilities in line with the Quality Standards 2015 for Children''s Homes.Providing flexible, creative, and individualised support to young people.Encouraging and supporting young people to participate in residents'' meetings and become actively involved in the day-to-day running of the home.Promoting and upholding children''s rights at all times.Undertaking sleep-in duties where required as part of a rota system, including evenings and weekends.Attending and contributing positively to staff meetings, training sessions, supervisions, and performance reviews.RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must have:Experience working directly with children and young people.If you feel you have the skills and experience for this role, or would like to learn more, you can:Apply now by clicking the apply button and following the steps.Contact Sophie on for further information.At Spencer Clarke Group, we are committed to connecting ..... full job details .....
