Finance Director - £120k-150k + excellent benefits + possible equity participation

Location: Birmingham  / West Midlands  - Private Equity Owned Manufacturer & Distributor of Innovative Materials Handling Solutions

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of highly innovative materials handling solutions, proudly serving major distribution centres and warehousing environments, including renowned clients like Amazon and Morrisons.

Recently acquired by a private equity group, they have experienced significant investment over the past year, positioning them for exciting growth and expansion.

**The Opportunity:**

Following the investment, and changes in the Senior Leadership Team, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Finance Director to join their team.

In this pivotal role, you will lead and further develop the finance function, with a key focus on optimising EBITDA—an essential metric as they prepare for an eventual Private Equity exit.

Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping their financial strategy and ensuring robust financial health.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead and mentor a talented finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

- Implement and enhance financial controls and reporting mechanisms to drive operational efficiency.

- Maintain a laser-sharp focus on EBITDA, providing strategic insights to support business objectives.

• Analyse complex financial data and present findings to senior management to inform decision-making.

- Work in tandem with key stakeholders to align financial strategies with overall business goals.

**Qualifications:**

- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.

- Proven experience in a Finance Director role or similar senior finance position.

- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and managing finance teams.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial information.

- Experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector is highly desirable.
