HGV Class 1 Driver Right Now Group are recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join an established transport and logistics business operating within the freight and air cargo sector. This is a permanent position working predominantly with Freight Forwarding customers, completing collections and deliveries from shippers across the local and regional area. You will spend the majority of your time driving a Class 1 articulated vehicle, completing multiple collections and deliveries depending on the requirements of the day. Routes will vary, with the furthest regular journeys generally being Birmingham and back. The role will predominantly involve general freight, alongside a small amount of Dangerous Goods. This is also a hands-on driving position, and you will occasionally be required to move freight using a pump truck, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable getting involved when required. Although the position is predominantly Class 1 driving, flexibility is important and there may occasionally be a requirement to drive a Luton van to support the wider transport operation.
