Management Accountant Location: Downham Market Salary: Competitive + Benefits Type: Full-Time or 3 days a week A growing SME is seeking a capable and proactive Management Accountant to support financial operations and provide clear, data-led insight to assist senior decision-makers. This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone comfortable working in a close-knit, on-site team. Key Responsibilities As the Management Accountant, you''ll report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: Preparing monthly management accounts, with full analysis of performance Leading budgeting and forecasting processes across departments Monitoring weekly and monthly cashflow and identifying trends Managing accruals, prepayments and journals Overseeing in-house payroll processing for all staff Analysing stock and cost data to support reporting accuracy Producing weekly KPI and performance summaries Supporting year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors Contributing to system and process improvements Supervising a small finance support team Person Specification We re looking for a Management Accountant who is confident working across all aspects of a busy finance function and can communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
