An established contractor is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead a critical infrastructure project involving the installation of 132kV high-voltage cables across London. This role offers the chance to manage complex coordination between multiple teams, utility companies, and stakeholders, ensuring that essential cabling works and related construction activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and with minimal disruption.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of high-voltage cable installation across four London boroughs, from excavation through to connection and commissioning.
• Coordinate multiple work streams including road works, joint bay installation, and utility company activities to reduce disruption and improve efficiency.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across local authorities, utility partners, residents, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven project management experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical works, underground cable installation, or related utility infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple contractors and utility companies on complex, multi-site projects.
• Experience managing stakeholder engagement in urban environments with high community impact.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and risk management skills with the ability to adapt to changing site conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
• Qualification or accreditation in construction management, civil engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Previous experience managing utility infrastructure projects (ideally cable or street works).
