Job Title: HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers
Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire
Job Type: Ad-hoc / As and When Required. Class 1 Nights and Class 2 Days.

Pay Rates: (PAYE) Class 1 nights £18.50 & Class 2 days £15.00 per hour. 

Overview:

Wright Staff is currently seeking HGV Class 1 & 2 drivers to support our operations in the Droitwich area with pallet network deliveries.

This is ad-hoc work, offering flexibility and a variety of assignments to suit availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 2 vehicles in line with UK driving regulations
• Carry out deliveries and collections as required
• Undertake manual handling duties, including handballing and use of a tail lift and manual pump truck.
• Delivering to private and commercial addresses
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintain high standards of vehicle checks, cleanliness, and safety
• Provide excellent customer service during all client interactions

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) and/or Class 2 (C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
• Flexible, dependable, and able to work at short notice
• Strong understanding of driver regulations and compliance
