Director of Banking Policy

The role requires a driven tax professional with meaningful in-house experience to lead the transfer pricing program of a complex multi-national organization with a significant geographical footprint. This position reports to the VP of Tax.Develop vision, strategy and structure of how the group manages its transfer pricing in the current and rapidly changing commercial and economic environment - including strategies around APAs.Pro-actively establish and drive worldwide strategic transfer pricing initiatives across c.50 jurisdictions, specifically transforming the legacy transfer pricing policies to mitigate risk and improving tax efficiencies to yield optimized and sustainable tax positions. This includes providing support efforts on legal entity rationalization and other cross-border activities.Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure there is mutual understanding of key risks and strategies for their resolution. This includes Accounting, Intercompany, Controllership and Finance Managers, Procurement, Treasury, and other members of the Global Tax team.Develop strategies on transfer pricing disputes and litigations across the world, ensuring risks are appropriately managed and communicated.Represent the group on transfer pricing matters and influence decisions in negotiations with government bodies and tax authorities globally.CPA/chartered accountant, chartered tax advisor or qualified tax lawyerStrong knowledge and understanding of domestic and global transfer pricingAbility to influence senior stakeholders and to drive complex transformations involving cross-functional teamsStrong writing, analytical, and oral presentation skills including creativity in presentation materialsAbility to think broad about worldwide tax, economics, commercial and the wider business environment in developing strategic solutionsWe are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
