This is a temp-to-perm role, starting as soon as possible, offering rewarding work while providing stability and career progression.The Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant:Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needsSupport behaviour management, emotional wellbeing, and engagement in learningAssist in planning and delivering activities to support academic and social developmentWork collaboratively with class teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staffHelp create a structured, safe, and nurturing classroom environmentThe Ideal Candidate:Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needsBackgrounds in education, care, youth work, or mental health support are highly desirableCalm, patient, and resilient with excellent interpersonal skillsProactive and able to adapt to different pupil needsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What We Offer:Full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant role with a daily pay of 100- 130 depending on experienceImmediate start with temp-to-perm pathwaySupport and guidance from a dedicated Tradewind Recruitment consultantAccess to training and CPD, ..... full job details .....
