Service Designer
We are looking for an experienced Service Designer to work with our central government client and play a central role in shaping how the service operates as it moves from private beta to public beta. You''ll help define how the end to end service works today, identify the gaps and manual processes that exist, and design the roadmap towards a streamlined, digital, scalable service model.What you''ll be doingCreate service blueprints that clearly show steps, actors, systems, pain points and dependencies.Work closely with colleagues developing the Target Operating Model (TOM) to ensure future ways of working align to service design recommendations.Identify all offline, manual or non digital processes, such as:Manual EDP capacity updatesOffline payment processesDeveloper-LPA-NE document exchangesManual workarounds during MVS developmentHighlight system gaps and the manual effort caused by issues such as:Lack of Planning Portal APIsPending SSCL finance changeManual data pipelinesEarly stage reporting constraintsWork with operational leads to understand capacity needs and where temporary staffing will be required during beta phases.Develop a manual-to-digital transition roadmap, showing:Which steps will be automated and whenHow the service evolves from private public betWhere operational change is requiredCommunicate findings and recommendations clearly through artefacts, workshops and stakeholder sessions.What we''re looking forProven experience as a Service Designer in complex, ..... full job details .....
