45 hour working weekThe Role:This role would suit an experienced Chef De Partie with extensive knowledge of working with fresh food and who holds a NVQ level 1 and 2 qualifications or equivalent.As a Chef De Partie you must be enthusiastic and motivated, you will be supervising and mentoring trainees, therefore experience of coaching/mentoring in a kitchen environment would be desirable but not essential.Within this role you will be working to agreed budgets and meeting targets whilst preparing and producing the highest quality food at all times.The successful candidate will have experience working in a quality hotel or restaurant, have COSHH knowledge and experience organising, prioritising and managing a section.You will be working closely with the food and beverage team to enhance product knowledge and customer experience.Salary Up to £28K DOE, plus tips. 45 hour working weekThe ideal Chef de Partie:Is friendly, welcoming and approachableHas relative experience in a similar fresh food establishmentHas an ability to supervise a small teamHas a strong passion for food and enjoys creating imaginative dishesTakes pride in their work, serving food to the highest of standards with well thought out presentation.Has a flexible, calm attitude to working and puts the needs of the business before their ownQualification/Skill RequiredMinimum of 2 years of previous experience working at this levelLevel 2 Health and Hygiene CertificateNVQ in professional cookery / or equivalent, preferred
