Your role involves leading, motivating and developing our operational team to ensure they meet legislative obligations aswell as maintaining adequate staffing levels, managing absences and authorising overtime with justification. You''ll manage the D365 system within transport so you can ensure that all purchase requests are processed in a timely manner and purchase orders are placed appropriately. In addition, you will initiate investigations into the root causes of vehicle and personal accidents, interview staff to determine responsibility, take actions based on your findings and submit reports to the Transport Manager and Health and Safety Manager.
