Job Profile
As a CNC Turner (Programmer/Setter/Operator), you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls to produce precision components. This is a hands-on machining role in a busy subcontract environment, offering exposure to varied and interesting work across multiple industry sectors.
This is an immediate start opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist who takes pride in their work and thrives in a collaborative, team-driven setting.

Duties

• CNC Turning – programming, setting, and operating lathes with Fanuc controls
• Producing small batch runs (1-offs to 10-offs) for a range of industries
• Working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture components accurately
• Maintaining quality standards across all machining processes
• Supporting a teamwork-driven environment, sharing knowledge and best practices

Skills & Attributes

• Strong CNC Turning / Machining background (essential)
• Ability to program, set, and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls (essential)
• Experience of programming locally / online (essential)
• Subcontract machining experience desirable
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings
• Commitment to producing high-quality work
• Team player with a positive and proactive approach

Hours of Work

• Days – Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
• £19.00 per hour
• Overtime available – paid at 1.5x
