This is a specialist position suited to someone with experience operating automated or robotic welding equipment. You''ll be responsible for programming, setting up and running an AWL robotic welding system, ensuring products are manufactured accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This role goes beyond traditional welding. You''ll need a solid understanding of automated manufacturing processes, welding techniques, machine programming and quality inspection within a precision engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Robotic Welding and Machine Operation Set up, programme and operate an AWL robotic welding system. Configure welding parameters in accordance with engineering drawings and production requirements. Monitor automated welding processes to ensure optimum performance and consistent weld quality. Make adjustments to machine settings to maximise efficiency and minimise defects. Carry out routine machine checks and identify any operational issues. Perform basic fault finding and resolve minor machine problems where possible. Safely load and unload components into the robotic welding cell.
