This role would suit a technically minded manufacturing professional looking to take the next step with a company wanting to invest, improve and drive the site forward across all operational areas.Scope of the role: Overall responsibility for operations-based teams across production, warehouse, maintenance and quality.Ensure working standards and health and safety are met the site.Collaborating with the leadership team to drive improvements across the facility. Highlight operational areas for improvement looking at skill gaps / training / waste / productivity / PPM scheduling.Using lean manufacturing tools to provide solutions to areas of concern. Candidate Specification Has a technical background such as engineering or quality.Ideally educated to HND level in engineering or an equivalent technical subject.Currently working in an operational / production leadership role within manufacturing.Has a strong shop-floor presence, teamed with a drive to implement positive change and operational improvements.Has a clear idea of what good looks like and the confidence to influence.
