Logistics Controller Location: FiltonContract Type: Temporary ContractDuration: 12 MonthsHours: 20 Hours per Week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)Rate: £36.12 per hour (Umbrella)Position Purpose The Transport Desk / Logistics Coordinator will act as a pivotal link between Airbus Operations (including FLSWT and Airtec), Airbus Customs, and our primary approved logistics supplier, DHL Global Forwarding.The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating international transport flows, managing essential shipping documentation, ensuring strict compliance with customs regulations, and driving process harmonization across departments for non-flying parts. Key Responsibilities Logistics Coordination and Flow Optimization Coordinate the efficient end-to-end flow of international and domestic shipments utilizing approved suppliers (primarily DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Express).Proactively optimize transport flows to ensure speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness with our approved supplier.Liaise closely with internal departments (Airtec, Filton Low Speed Windtunnel, Procurement) and external suppliers to resolve transit delays or operational bottlenecks.
