General Labourer – Oxford (OX18) – £14.43 Per Hour

VGC Group are looking for an experienced General Labourer to start on a project in OX18, Oxford. This opportunity is available for an immediate start and offers consistent weekday hours, with the potential for weekend work for the successful candidate.

• Role: General Labourer
• Location: OX18, Oxford
• Salary: £14.43 per hour (PAYE)
• Hours: Weekday shifts (with potential weekend work)
• Contract: Ongoing
• Experience: 2 years +
• Qualifications: CSCS Card (Green or above)

Your role as a General Labourer will consist of:

• Assisting trades and site management with general site duties
• Maintaining site cleanliness and ensuring a safe working environment
• Moving materials and equipment around site
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Supporting site set-up and general maintenance
• Following all site health and safety procedures at all times
• Undertaking tasks in line with method statements and site instructions

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A valid CSCS Card
• Previous experience working as a labourer on construction sites
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good punctuality and reliability
• A valid British passport (required due to site/client access restrictions)

• Lodge and travel are not provided for this role
• Holiday entitlement will be accrued
• Eligibility to join the VGC pension scheme (subject to criteria)
