Please note, a DBS check will be completed upon offer.As one of the Cable Making / Extrusion Operative, you will be tasked with: Ensuring that the line remains operational during the shift Making minor machine adjustments to ensure the effectiveness of the plant equipment Maintaining the quality of the product Identify manufacturing compliance problems Operate production machinery as per SOP and Process Specification Complete production sheets e.g. production figures, down time and scrap Carry out 5S duties Complete the initial investigations in order to solve process problems using a range of techniques e.g. data collecting, analysis of SPC Chart Complete the line set up and start up in a responsible and safe manner Completing any safety check offs Test completed reels/drums as per inspection schedule and record on production sheet Update waste management systems, scrap sheets and correctly dispose of scrap To be successful as the Cable ..... full job details .....
