Payroll Manager - Permanent, Canary Wharf Hours: 40 per week Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 (Core hours 10:00 - 16:00, with flexi hours between 07:30 - 18:30) Work from home: One day per week, Friday The Payroll Manager will provide a competent, effective and timely payroll function for the business. The main role of the Payroll Manager is to process several of the individual company payrolls on a monthly basis, ensuring all information and records relating to payroll are up to date. Ensure payroll is processed on a monthly basis for approximately 500 staff employed over approximately 11 separate company payrolls, liaising with HR and on-site Property Administrators to ensure correct information is given in a timely manner. Ad hoc reporting to Finance Teams and to the Finance Director/Controller. Review process with appropriate reconciliations in place for payroll and final sign off by Financial Controller/Finance Director. Ensure the monthly payment of staff salaries via Sage Supplier Salary Module. Maintain all payroll records electronically and hard copies where necessary. Ensure processes and procedures follow current regulations. Liaise with Head of departments on any salary related queries, work closely with the Financial Director/Financial Controller on processes and procedures. Respond and resolve payroll queries from employees and management. Regular usage of payroll system, including data compilation and input.
