These young people are not currently accessing mainstream education due to SEND, SEMH, permanent exclusion, and various other barriers.We are looking for Specialist QTS Tutors to work with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, covering Maths, English, and Functional Skills. You will provide a safe, encouraging, and empowering learning environment that helps young people rebuild confidence and re-engage with their education. Contract/Position Details: Location - Chester-Le-Street Position - SEND Specialist Tutor Type of work - Contract Start date - ASAP Setting - either within the student''s home or in the community (learning hub/library) Duration - Until the pupil is able to find a suitable school placement Contract type - Temporary Full-time/part-time availability, ranging from 6-15hours p/w per student Rate of pay - up to 30 per hour (negotiable)Your role with us: Support students with SEND through individual and small group sessions, developing self-confidence, independence, practical life skills, community awareness, and basic food preparation.
