We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Coventry on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and qualified individual with relevant experience in facilities management, looking to manage a small team of up to two people and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities across multiple sites.

Key Details:
• Location: Coventry
• Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 13:30

Team: 

• Manage a team of up to 2 staff members
• Driving: A valid driving licence is required, as you will be required to travel between sites.
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate
• Additional Benefits: Car park pass for the town centre and access to a company van
Annual Leave:
• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
• For every 2 years of service, annual leave increases by 1 extra day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day facilities management operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment across multiple locations.
• Manage and maintain building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and safety systems.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet operational requirements and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain effective systems for monitoring and reporting on building performance, maintenance schedules, and health & safety compliance.
• Travel between sites as needed to ensure smooth operations and effective management.

Skills & Experience:
• Relevant experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role is essential.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and building maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• A valid driving licence is essential for travel between sites.
