Senior Maintenance EngineerLocation: Sittingbourne, KentHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pmWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead a small team of Maintenance Engineers while remaining actively involved in the maintenance, reliability and improvement of production machinery.The RoleYou will report to the Maintenance Manager and take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities across the department, ensuring machinery remains reliable and production downtime is minimised.Key responsibilities will include:Leading and supporting a small team of Maintenance Engineers.Providing technical guidance, support and mentoring to the engineering team.Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery.Maintaining production machinery, conveyors, material handling systems, granulators and ancillary equipment.Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules.Using a structured and methodical approach to identify and resolve technical issues.Liaising with external technical support where required.Ensuring maintenance activities meet health and safety, environmental and quality standards.Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the Agility system.Identifying opportunities to improve machine availability, reliability and ..... full job details .....
