This role will involve providing 1:1 support for a child with SEMH and behavioural needs, alongside delivering phonics interventions and supporting a whole classroom. This is a varied and rewarding long-term position that has an opportunity to turn permanent, ideal for someone confident working within Early Years, who can balance targeted support with whole class responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Provide consistent 1:1 support for a Reception pupil with SEMH and behavioural needsImplement strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviourDeliver targeted phonics interventions to small groupsSupport whole class learning within a Reception settingAssist with early learning activities including phonics, literacy and numeracyHelp maintain routines, transitions and a structured classroom environmentWork closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and adapt supportIdeal Candidate Profile:Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experienceExperience working within Early Years or ReceptionPrevious experience supporting SEMH and behavioural needsStrong understanding of phonics Confident delivering small group interventionsCalm, ..... full job details .....
