FCAW Welder

The contract is workshop based and FCAW experience is essential as well as experience working on carbon steel. At present the contract is 4-6 weeks, starting ASAP.Candidates will be required to undertake an inhouse weld test before moving straight onto the contract.Key Responsibilities:Perform FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on carbon steelEnsure high-quality welds in compliance with industry standardsWork in a 6G welding position, adhering to safety and operational protocolsCollaborate effectively with the team to achieve project goalsMaintain and troubleshoot welding equipment as necessaryAdhere to project timelines and work schedulesJob Requirements:FCAW experience ideally in marine/oil and gas or other heavy industriesStrong understanding of welding safety procedures and protocolsAbility to interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and quality assurance skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesRate of pay - 33.48/h Umbrella co or 25/h PAYE plus 3.02/h holiday pay (which can either be accrued or advanced)Hours - 54 (4 x 12''s Mon - Thurs, 6 Fri)If you are an experienced FCAW Welder in between jobs and available asap we would love to hear from ..... full job details .....
