Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and technical delivery of AV systems from initial client discussions to project handover.
- Validate design and tender information to ensure alignment with the client''s intended functionality.
- Manage all project deliverables, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, while coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including cable schedules, schematics, rack layouts, and projection studies, using AutoCAD.
- Maintain a clear and organized bill of materials, managing changes and ensuring all team members are updated.
- Conduct site surveys to understand project scope and limitations before installation, including taking measurements and coordinating with site teams.
- Lead internal project meetings, working with project managers, procurement teams, and colleagues to track project status and resolve ongoing issues.
- Ensure smooth project handover, ensuring clients are satisfied with the installed systems.
- Provide pre-sales technical support as needed.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes by identifying issues and suggesting solutions.
- Stay informed about AV industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
What You Need To Succeed:
- At least 6 years of experience in AV, construction, or technical project delivery.
- Experience across multiple markets, such as experiential, virtual production, sports, broadcast, and corporate.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of project goals, risks, and how to deliver on them or mitigate them.
- Ability to communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical team members and clients.
- Self-driven and able to work effectively in a team.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD), Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Solid knowledge of construction management, with experience collaborating with contractors and architects.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with 3D design and Revit/BIM software.
- CTS Certification.
- Experience with complex projection systems.
