OverviewAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic RMN to join our team and develop their knowledge and skills in this specialised area. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in the area of substance use. You will provide high quality, evidence-based care to individuals experiencing substance use problems and a range of mental health issues. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will support rapid access to services, retention in treatment, reduce risks from drug related harms, and provide trauma informed care.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality, evidence-based care to individuals experiencing substance use problems and a range of mental health issues.

Support rapid access to services, retention in treatment, and reduction of risks from drug-related harms as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Provide trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and good knowledge of current drivers in mental health and substance use.

Motivated and flexible to adapt to the demands of a dynamic environment.

Shortlisted candidates will have or be willing to work toward independent prescriber''s registration.

Location and conditionsThe service is based at the Fulton Clinic RCH and the Timmermarket in Aberdeen town centre. Willingness to work in either or both locations is required. Supportive line management and supervision structures are in place. Interviews will take place on 11th/12th September 2025. An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
