Solutions Architect - Corporate Payments

My client, a leading global bank, is looking for a Solutions Architect to join their global architecture team supporting Corporate Payments, Accounting Services, Liquidity Management and Commercial Card domains. This role focuses on aligning technology strategy with business goals, managing architectural risks, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. The role can be Chester or Bromley based (3 days onsite).Responsibilities

Define and deliver solution architecture aligned with business and technology strategyShape high-level architecture and adapt to evolving requirementsCollaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and development teamsEnsure non-functional requirements are met (e.g. security, scalability, performance)Support agile delivery and architectural runway planningLead design reviews and resolve technical impedimentsRequired Skills

Deep domain expertise in Corporate Payments (essential) and related financial servicesStrong experience in API design, microservices, and integration platformsHands-on with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, KubernetesProven ability to work across SDLC models (Waterfall/Agile)Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsBroad IT knowledge: financial software, middleware, databasesAbility to translate complex concepts for varied audiencesQualifications

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related fieldTOGAF 9 certification (preferred)Cloud Architect certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)Job Details
