The role focuses on production test, process development and improving the efficiency and reliability of electronic assemblies. Responsibilities: - Support the introduction of new products into production, ensuring designs are suitable for manufacture and test - Define and manage bills of materials (BOMs) within ERP systems for new products - Develop and implement production test strategies, including functional test, calibration and verification - Design and develop test fixtures, jigs and automated test equipment - Collaborate with software/embedded teams to support test development where required - Ensure electronic designs meet requirements for production through DFM/DFT reviews - Support and optimise processes for PCB assembly, cable harnessing, calibration and system integration - Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure consistent quality and yield - Drive continuous improvement to enhance production efficiency, test coverage and product quality - Provide hands-on support to troubleshoot electronic and system-level issues in production - Carry out root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for failures and defects - Support non-conformance investigations and ..... full job details .....
