SEN Teacher Pupil Referral Unit, Hackney Start Date: Immediate Start Contract: Full-Time, London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceWe are looking for an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a well-respected Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people who may have experienced barriers to learning, and make a real difference to their educational journey.The RoleIn this SEN Teacher role you will be teaching within their secondary provision. Classes will be up to 6 pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs. You will have a team of support staff in the class to allow for emotional and behavioural support. You will need to have a good understanding of core subject curriculums and must have PRU experience.You will need to be approachable and patient and be able to build a strong rapport with the students. You will be working closely with other staff and professionals to manage challenging emotional and social behaviour on a daily basis.
