This is a key strategic role, responsible for leading operational excellence across two major UK locations.The Operations Director will provide strong, forward-thinking leadership to a team of Plant Managers, creating a high-performance, collaborative culture with a focus on driving continuous improvement and efficiency across both sites while mentoring and empowering operational leaders.Responsibilities

Develop and execute operational strategies in line with business goalsLead and inspire the operations team to meet and exceed performance targetsContinuously review and enhance operational processes to increase efficiency and support growthDrive cost-effective practices across all areas of the businessCollaborate closely with the Plant Managers to identify and implement improvement initiativesQualifications

Degree-qualified, ideally in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related fieldProven experience in a senior operations role within manufacturing or a related sectorDemonstrated success in managing multi-site operationsStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesExceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skillsWillingness to travel regularly between sites with the majority of time spent on plantDetails
