A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Droylsden is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis for the full academic year. This rewarding opportunity involves supporting pupils across Early Years and Reception, alongside providing tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting children''s academic, social and emotional development. Key Responsibilities Support teaching and learning within Early Years and Reception classrooms. Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils who require additional assistance. Work closely with children with a range of SEN needs, helping them access the curriculum effectively. Assist in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities. Encourage children''s independence, confidence and wellbeing. Support positive behaviour and classroom routines. Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents. Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. The ideal candidate will: Have experience working with primary-aged children, particularly within EYFS.
