We are working exclusively with a well-established and growing civil engineering consultancy based in Liverpool to appoint a Director to lead their Civil Engineering department. This is a senior, high-impact appointment offering real autonomy, a competitive package, and an exceptional holiday allowance - including a two-week Christmas shutdown, bringing total leave to circa 43 days per year. The role Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for the performance, growth, and technical output of the Civil Engineering division. This is a dual-focused position, you will provide strategic direction and commercial oversight while remaining hands-on with technical design across highways, drainage, infrastructure, and earthworks schemes. You will be the face of the department for key clients and stakeholders, leading business development activity, supporting framework bids and tender submissions, and building on an already strong market reputation.
