The post would suit an enthusiastic and motivated classroom practitioner who can enthuse the learning of children with Specific Learning Difficulties. The role demands the flexibility to incorporate the school''s literacy programme into their subject''s work for which the school will provide appropriate training. It is not a requirement for the candidate to have any prior training in teaching dyslexics.
