Questech Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Manager to join one of our well-established packaging manufacturer clients in the Scunthorpe area. Shifts: Monday to Friday (day shift) Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities Oversee production operations and coordinate associated departments including pulping, production, and packing across multiple sites. Analyse and improve production planning processes. Establish and maintain production conditions to meet agreed quality specifications, including BRC standards. Lead and embed Lean manufacturing and 5S practices within the production environment. Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures across manufacturing processes. Agree, direct, and monitor short- and medium-term operational strategies and facility plans. Drive best practice initiatives to ensure quality and efficiency objectives are achieved. Organise and manage workflow systems to maximise productivity. Investigate and implement new production methods and process improvements. Maintain effective relationships with equipment suppliers and external partners. Set and manage KPIs to drive continuous performance improvement. Analyse statistical data to determine optimal production control levels. Work closely with sales teams to forecast production demand. Address customer concerns relating to finished products.
