Quality Control InspectorTemporary - Approximately 3 Months 14.50 - 15.50 per hourWe are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector to join a busy manufacturing environment on a temporary basis.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming components and materials against drawings, specifications and purchase orders.Carry out visual and measurement-based inspections, including use of measurement equipment.Identify and record non-conforming products and support corrective actions.Maintain accurate quality records and assist with supplier quality issues.Work closely with Quality, Production, Purchasing and Engineering teams.Maintain a clean, organised working environment.The Ideal CandidatePrevious experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing/engineering environment.Knowledge of measurement techniques/metrology; CMM experience is desirable.Understanding of ISO 9001, Lean or Six Sigma principles.Good IT skills, particularly Word and Excel; SAP experience advantageous.Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.Able to work independently and effectively as part of a wider team.Level 4 Quality Practitioner, NPL Metrology training or equivalent experience would be highly desirable.
