Circa £50,000 DOE + 24 Holidays + Bank Holidays + Profit Related Bonus + Life Assurance (4x Salary)

Monday to Friday - 33 Hours per Week (+1 Hour Unpaid Lunch) 

Engineering Manager required for an industry leading manufacturer offering a 33-hour contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to play an integral role within a friendly company who are investing into their equipment on site. This role would suit either an experienced Engineering Manager or a Lead Engineer / Senior Engineer / Engineering Supervisor looking to step up.

This role would suit a mechanically or electrically qualified engineer from a manufacturing background. You will need experience in a leadership role and hold a H&S certificate.

This is a hands-on position where the successful candidate will oversee a small but growing engineering team responsible for carrying out PPMs, repairs and project work across the company’s Glossop site.

The Engineering Manager Role:

·         Oversee a small engineering team

·         Liaise and oversee contractors onsite

·         Organise inspections

·         Carry out risk assessments

·         Lead projects such as the installation of new equipment

·         33 Hours per week

The Engineering Manager Candidate:

·         Qualified engineer – mechanically or electrically biased

·         Any manufacturing industry background

·         Hold a H&S certificate i.e. IOSH

·         Experience in a leadership role
