Multiskilled Operative - Hospital Maintenance 30ph A leading contractor is looking for a Multiskilled Operative (Mechanical / Electrical / Handyman / Carpentry) to join a hospital maintenance team Start date 02/03/2026 This is an ongoing maintenance position on a secure healthcare site.Shift Pattern (Continental Shift): 12-hour shifts - 6am-6pm (days) / 6pm-6am (nights) 14 shifts per month Rate: 30 per hour (flat rate for days and nights)What you''ll do:Fault diagnosis across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsService, maintenance, and repair of mechanical plant and water systemsBasic electrical maintenance and small worksGeneral building maintenance, handyman duties, and basic carpentryWater sampling, incubation, flushing, and cooling tower checksPlanned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive worksWorking in live environments including hospital wards and critical areasEnsuring all works are completed safely and in line with hospital regulationsRequirements:Proven experience as a Multiskilled Operative within commercial or healthcare environmentsStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilityBasic DBS check (essential)Own tools and full PPERelevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines preferredExperience working in hospitals or critical environments highly desirableJoin a secure hospital site and work alongside experienced engineers supporting critical services.Please apply to be considered.
