Contentful is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our Web Experience team on a contract basis until 01/31/26. As a key contributor to our global web presence, you’ll work closely with Marketing, Design, Content and Engineering teams to enhance and optimize our digital experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to drive impactful projects that support Contentful’s growth and engagement with our customers.In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the user experience across our digital touchpoints — with a primary focus on improving our website performance, evolving our design system and driving user-centric improvements through the adoption and implementation of research and insights.What to expect?

Develop, maintain and optimize Contentful’s marketing website and digital properties from a UX perspectiveWork in close partnership with designers, content strategists and our SEO team in particular, to define and design experiences that fulfil or surpass user and business expectationsCreate, audit and optimize user journeys, information architecture, navigation and content layout for clarity and conversionGrow our design system to meet the evolving needs of our user and business needsCreate wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI layouts, using our design systemUse data (analytics, heatmaps, session recordings) to inform design iterations and improvementsConduct user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) to uncover insights and validate design decisionsLeverage research and insights from within the business to inform experimentation and personalization strategies, to drive engaging, performant, experiencesUse Contentful as a product, to turn your ideas into reality, supporting others to do the sameAdvocate for UX best practices and contribute to a culture of design excellence and collaborationMentor junior members of the team and share knowledge across the organizationWhat do you need to be successful?

8+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing B2B SaaS or complex web-based productsProven experience designing and optimizing marketing websites, delivering measurable performance and resultsExpertise in developing and maintaining scalable design systemsAdvanced proficiency with FigmaStrong skills in user research, usability testing, and data-informed designExperience using analytics, experimentation and personalization toolsSolid understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-platform considerationsExperience working in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced, agile environmentExcellent communication and demonstrable collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally and present ideas effectivelyExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple projectsFamiliarity with headless CMS/ DXP technology and how Contentful worksKnowledge of the following is a plus:

Front-end code, frameworks and modern web technologiesSEO best practice, Core Web Vitals and performance optimizationUse of AI in day-to-day work, to improve quality, productivity and efficiency across the team
