We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead our children''s home in Leeds, specialising in supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex mental health needs.
About the Role As Registered Manager, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional, child-centred care.
You will build strong relationships with local authorities and multidisciplinary teams, lead a committed team, ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, and promote a positive, therapeutic environment.
You''ll play a key role in shaping the future of the home, maximising children''s wellbeing, and achieving outstanding inspection outcomes.
What You''ll Do Lead and inspire a small, dedicated team to provide outstanding care tailored to each child''s needs.
Maintain compliance with all Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards.
Build and nurture strong partnerships with social workers, placing authorities, and community groups.
Promote the home''s ethos, values, and child-first approach, enhancing its reputation and occupancy.
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and personalised support packages.
Manage budgets effectively to ensure cost-efficient, high-quality care.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, staff development, and innovative practice.
What We''re Looking For Minimum 2 years'' experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a Good/Outstanding children''s home.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership (or working towards).
Proven expertise supporting children with EBD, complex mental health, and challenging behaviours.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and therapeutic approaches including PACE.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience in opening or developing new children''s homes is desirable.
