This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly understand the operation, produce accurate management information and work closely with finance and operational stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate must be available to work three days per week on site. Due to the operational nature of the role, remote working is not available. The role The Interim Management Accountant will take responsibility for management reporting, financial analysis and operational finance support within a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities will include:Preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and prepaymentsProducing accurate balance sheet reconciliationsSupporting budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reportingAnalysing manufacturing costs, margins, overheads and operational performanceReviewing inventory, stock movements and work in progressInvestigating variances and providing clear commentary to senior managementSupporting month-end processes and ensuring reporting deadlines are metWorking closely with operational and production teamsImproving ..... full job details .....
