What you will be doing In this role, you will be producing and analysing management information to support informed decision-making across the business. You will collaborate with various teams, providing insight into project costs, margins, and forecast accuracy, whilst playing an integral part in the ongoing development of financial processes. Develop and review work centre cost rates, stock valuations, and product costing reports. Analyse variances in volume, margin, and cost to communicate key insights to management. Assist in the preparation of month-end management accounts and statutory reporting. Conduct margin reviews, providing strategic recommendations for pricing and cost control. Undertake capital expenditure appraisals, including project analysis and post-completion reviews. Support budgeting and forecasting activities, monitoring actuals against budgets. Prepare reports on operational efficiencies and process improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, fostering positive relationships and influencing decisions.
