Job role: Technical Trainer - Energy / Power Generation Basic Salary - 52,000 Benefits - Company Vehicle - Fuel Card Location - UK Wide About the Role - We are seeking a highly capable Technical Trainer to support our clients operations function across gas utilisation, power generation and solar assets. This is a key role within the business, responsible for raising technical competence, safety standards, and operational performance across all operational and engineering teams. You will ensure staff are trained to best-in-sector standards, capable of working safely and unsupervised, and aligned with company KPIs, HSQE requirements, and customer expectations. Objectives - Maximise production and reduce operational costs through effective operation and maintenance of generating assets Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of generators, solar, gas processing plant and associated systems Provide flexible support to the Projects Department to meet commissioning timescales and budgets Responsibilities - Audit on-site working practices to ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards Induct new starters and develop them to a level where they can work safely and unsupervised Develop, update, assess and deliver all internal training and development modules Review and recommend external training resources to accelerate team competency Continually assess the competency of operational and technical staff across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, ..... full job details .....
