Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesTo assist the chef team in planning, preparing, cooking and presenting food to the standards required by the company and the client.To control portion size and monitor wasteTo ensure supplies are correctly used, accounted for and to assist with weekly stock take and food rotation proceduresTo maintain records relating to food production activities and supplier information as required by the catering managerTo ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards are maintained in line with company policy and legislationTo assist the executive chef in the day to day running of the kitchenTo assist in regular team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company/client informationTo ensure compliance with the company''s policy on safer recruitment and safeguarding children and young adults at all times whilst at work.
