CompEx Electrical Technician

to join our technical services team. This role involves working with EX-rated equipment in hazardous areas (Zones 0, 1, and 2), both in the workshop and on client sites across the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect, test, and maintain electrical systems in hazardous environmentsInstall and commission ATEX-compliant electrical equipmentComplete inspection reports and certification documentationSupport mobilisation of rental equipment for hazardous area useEnsure compliance with DSEAR, ATEX, and internal safety proceduresRequirementsValid

CompEx certification

(Ex01–Ex04)NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)Experience working in hazardous area environments (e.g., oil and gas, petrochemical, industrial)Strong knowledge of cable glanding, terminations, and ATEX complianceFull UK driving licence (essential)Willingness to travel for projects across the UKWhat’s on OfferSalary up to £40,000 depending on experienceOngoing training and developmentOpportunities for progressionPension scheme and standard employee benefits
