This is an excellent chance to join a well-established and growing business in Birchwood on a 12-month fixed-term contract, where you''ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Key responsibilities will include: Maintaining accurate financial records and processing daily accounting transactions. Supporting payroll administration by collating and validating employee information for weekly payroll runs. Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating any variances identified. Monitoring intercompany transactions and ensuring accounts are reconciled accurately between group entities. Assisting with the preparation of management information and financial reports for internal stakeholders. Processing journals and supporting month-end close activities. Reviewing VAT and other tax-related account balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies where necessary. Requirements: Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Assistant Accountant position. Strong reconciliation skills and a high level of attention to detail.
