Overview

Senior Sister/Charge Nurse Private Care Pre-assessment Clinic at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) NHS Trust. This role leads the Private Care Pre-assessment Clinic and ensures high-quality, safe patient care within the inpatient pathway.Responsibilities

24-hour responsibility for the provision of clinical care and standards in the department.Coordinate and supervise staff; ensure training is maintained; provide clinical leadership.Ensure adequate staffing levels and act as a role model and leader to nursing staff.Ensure the safe running of the Private Care Pre-admission/outpatient department day to day, delivering a high standard of care.Support the Management team, Director of Clinical Services and Operations Manager in planning and implementing issues arising from Trust Board strategies.Qualifications

Registered Nurse (Band 7) with experience in leadership roles within private care/pre-assessment settings.Able to manage difficult situations effectively.Leadership skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and organise work for self and others.Time management and effective delegation skills.Mentorship and preceptorship experience; excellent clinical skills.Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team; ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions.Change management experience.Benefits
