Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage construction works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across all site activities. Ensure all subcontractors comply with site standards, health and safety requirements and project specifications. Allocate labour and resources daily to ensure works are adequately resourced by competent personnel. Ensure all required plant, tools and materials are available, reporting shortages to the Site Agent or Project Manager. Review work documentation to ensure all information is suitable and sufficient for the planned activities. Accept and manage permits, ensuring they are included within work packs and issued to the relevant workforce. Carry out daily setting-to-work briefings with operatives, supervisors and subcontractors. Deliver and record Daily Activity Briefings, Pre-Start Briefings, Toolbox Talks and End-of-Shift Debriefs. Supervise operatives, supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all health and safety, environmental and quality procedures. Ensure all works are carried out under appropriate safe systems of work and that all required briefings have been completed. Review site records completed by operatives and supervisors, submitting documentation to the Site Agent as required.
